These privacy terms are valid from 14 April 2022.
DEFINITIONS
The processing of personal data is any activity performed with the personal data of the Website user (hereinafter ‘User’) – data collection, processing, storage, correction, or deletion.
Users are all persons who visit the Website, consume services or provide information, including reading articles, ordering products/services, or contacting us by email.
Services are all free and paid products and services offered by Dimedium AS, including newsletters.
A third party is a contractual partner of Dimedium AS who processes personal data and whose product or service is used by Dimedium AS to offer products or services to the User.
PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
By using the Website, the User consents to the processing of their data in accordance with these privacy conditions.
Dimedium AS collects the following personal data of Users via the Website as described below:
- User name and email address – when using the contact form or sending an email;
- Website visitation statistics – with the help of Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc
USE OF PERSONAL DATA
Dimedium AS uses personal data:
- to provide a service and make product offers to the User, to communicate with the User, to send invoices;
- to send notifications about new events, services, and campaigns to the User’s email address, but only with the prior consent of the User.
Dimedium AS uses Website visitation statistics to improve the User experience of the Website and for more effective marketing.
The User has the right to prohibit the processing of their personal data at any time, unless it is necessary to fulfil a requirement arising from the contract, including the provision of the service.
TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES
A third party is a contractual partner of Dimedium AS who processes personal data and whose product or service is used by Dimedium AS to offer products or services to the User.
For daily operations, Dimedium AS uses third parties who offer:
- an email forwarding and management system
- website hosting
- analysis of website usage statistics
- the use of social media and the analysis of social media statistics
- the use of accounting software
In addition to the third parties mentioned in the previous point, Dimedium AS transfers the User’s personal data to the cooperation partner, only to the extent necessary to provide the service to the User.
STORAGE AND SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA
Dimedium AS stores personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil a purpose or as required by law. For example, accounting data is stored for seven (7) years from the end of the financial year, while the email address on the mailing list is stored until the User requests that it be deleted.
Dimedium AS implements all reasonable measures to protect processed personal data. Only authorised persons have access to change and process personal data, and the personal data of all Users is treated as confidential information.
USER RIGHTS
The User has the right, at any time:
- to request access to their data
- demand the correction, addition, or deletion of personal data under the terms and conditions prescribed by law
- request the restriction of processing personal data
- request the transfer of personal data.
In order to exercise their rights, the User must send a corresponding request to the email address info@dimedium.ee.
If the User is a member of the Dimedium AS mailing list, the User can delete themselves from the mailing list and opt out of further emails via the link at the end of the email.
If the User believes that their rights have been violated during the processing of personal data, the User has the right to contact the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate.
